Yayasan Kemanusiaan Ibu Pertiwi (YKIP)

This project is quite simple: let's get children hearing. When YKIP/ALF first started working with CV LUMINA on this project, it was limited to providing students at the Special Needs Schools for the Hearing Impaired with hearing aids and hearing aid support. This has now grown into an Infant Screening Program at Bali’s major hospitals, installation of Sound Testing Booths at these schools, an outreach program on hearing health to community health centres (Puskesmas) and a Playgroup/Kindergarten for the Hearing Impaired (the only one of its kind in Bali).
