Volunteer Adrienne Oberoi , a hearing adult born to two deaf parents, has been holding sign language classes for the parents of the children at SLBB Jimbaran.

 Adrienne Oberoi is a hearing individual born to two deaf parents. She has lived in Indonesia for many years and speaks Indonesian.
Therefore, when she offered her services to work with the Jimbaran SLBB (School for the Hearing Impaired), we were delighted.
She made several visits to the SLBB and met mainly with parents and teachers, teaching them not only sign language skills but
also facilitating conversations about the challenges of living with a disabled child.
